The Setting Out Procedure

 

Accurate setting out of the building is mandatory.

   It is recommended that this is done by means of a theodolite in order to ensure that the building is absolutely square - both in horizontal and vertical planes.

   Frequent checking must be done by ensuring equal diagonal dimensions of whole and parts of the building.

The first method building was produced in 1964 and titled 'Handbook of Building Assembly'. It set out the principle component parts and method of assembly. To understand this the following notes give an insight to the design. Only the major elements have been listed to illustrate the construction.
