Small holes in PVC covering up to 2,500 mm2 in size


Example

 

a) Galvanising Intact  

  • Thoroughly clean the surface of area to be restored using Stelmax cleaning fluid.
  • Carefully peel back any defective and/or non adhering PVC to a clean firm straight cut edge.
  • Apply Stelmax filler paste to the area where PVC has been removed, and strike off the paste level with the surrounding area.

b) Steel Sheet Rusting 

  • Carefully peel back any defective and/or non adhering PVC to a clean firm straight cut edge.
  • Remove all rust by abrading surface to bright metal.
  • Thoroughly clean the surfaces of area to be restored using Stelmax cleaning fluid.
  • Apply Stelmax filler paste to the area where PVC has been removed, and strike off the paste level with the surrounding area.

c) Steel Sheet Holed 

  • Carefully peel back any defective and/or non adhering PVC to a clean firm straight cut edge.
  • Remove all rust by abrading surface to bright metal.
  • Break back the corroded edges to the steel surrounding the hole until a reasonable thickness of metal is obtained. Remove sufficient of the inner foam to form a key behind the remaining metal, fill the hole using two pack of epoxy resin filler. Allow to set and sand down to a surface level with the surrounding metal.
  • Thoroughly clean the surface of area to be restored using Stelmax cleaning fluid.
  • Apply Stelmax filler paste to the area where PVC has been removed and strike off the paste level with the surrounding area.
