Partitions are generally constructed in 2 layers of 9.5mm plasterboard on 60mm Gyproc metal studs. Similarly the inner lining to the external walls are clad in 2 layers of 9.5mm plasterboard on 48mm Gyproc metal studs.

Note that this construction is consistent with HTM guidance, but is generally more economic than "6M" construction, which comprises 2 layers of 12.7 mm plasterboard on 48mm metal studs.
