Introduction
The Oxford Regional Health Authority from the mid 1960's onwards developed a modular building design for hospitals and major hospital extensions. Over the years it went through changes from 2M to 3M and finally to 6M. This report describes the assessment which has been carried out on the various elements of construction within the 2M and 3M designs to provide a judgement on their fire resistance capabilities.
