External Windows & Doors

In the early development of Oxford Method, external doors were of hardwood with a central rail. Jambs were fitted top and bottom and glazed in Georgian wired glass. Hinges were fixed to the metal frame and the doors fitted to the hinges.

The following photograph shows external doors which open outward onto a terrace.
